How to stop the pain of texting on mobile phone

Many people are restless due to the pain of texting on mobile phones. Mobile operators regularly send text messages to inform customers about new packages and services. The Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission(BTRC) on Saturday announced ways to block such text messages.

According to a BTRC notification, the 'Do Not Disturb or DND'  service has been launched to further improve the quality of service.

This service can be launched by dialing USDD code if you do not want to receive commercial promotional text messages on your mobile phone.

In case of Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi, Airtel no commercial promotional text messages will come.

1. Grameenphone Dial: *121*1101#

2.Banglalink Dial:*121*8*6#

3. Robi Dial:*7#

4.Airtel Dial:*7#

BRTA said in a statement that commercial promotional messages play a helpful role in helping mobile operators learn about new services. However, in some cases, it seems annoying to receive such text messages from customers.
